About Your Advisors
Wealth Advisors Who Care is led by its two co-founders — Tony Adamo, AIF® and Chris Ritacca, AIF® — who plan for clients together, under the same fiduciary standard.
Tony Adamo, AIF® is an Investment Advisor Representative of IFP Advisors, LLC, conducting advisory business as Wealth Advisors Who Care in Florida. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Hofstra University (1980). Before joining IFP Advisors, LLC in 2018, he served as a Wealth Management Advisor at TIAA-CREF from 2013 to 2018.
His Form ADV Part 2B brochure supplement reports no disciplinary actions or regulatory disclosure events. You can verify his background through the SEC's Investment Adviser Public Disclosure site and FINRA BrokerCheck — links are in the footer of every page.
Chris Ritacca, AIF® is a Co-Founder of Wealth Advisors Who Care and a Wealth Management Advisor, with more than a decade of experience in the financial services industry. He specializes in helping individuals, families, professionals, and retirees align their investments and financial strategies with the life they envision most. Chris believes great financial planning begins with listening — building objective, customized strategies around what matters most to each client, not around products or corporate sales goals.
Before co-founding Wealth Advisors Who Care alongside longtime friend and business partner Tony Adamo, Chris began his career at Janus Henderson and later served as an Associate Wealth Management Advisor at TIAA. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder, and holds securities registration licenses, life, health & variable annuity insurance licenses, and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation.
A Coordinated Professional Team
Sound financial planning rarely lives in one office. Through our registered investment adviser, Independent Financial Partners, our practice coordinates with a network of allied professionals, so the advice you receive in one area is consistent with the advice you receive in every other.
Wills, trusts, and wealth-transfer documents aligned with your financial plan.
Tax preparation and planning coordinated with your investment and income strategy.
Guidance for owners planning succession, sale, or transition of their business.
Support for the people side of running and eventually exiting a business.
Housing and lending decisions evaluated inside your overall plan, not apart from it.
Legal counsel coordinated with financial guidance for clients navigating divorce.
Coverage specialists who help address the protection side of a complete plan.
One point of contact who keeps the whole team — and your plan — moving in the same direction.
An introductory consultation is an opportunity for both of us to determine fit. Bring your questions; we will bring candor about what we can and cannot do for you. Meet by video from anywhere, or in person at the IFP office in Tampa (by appointment only), or at your home or place of business.
Our Services
These are the services as listed on our firm's website — four service lines: Financial Planning, Business Advisory Services, Qualified Plan Solutions, and Insurance Solutions. Great financial planning begins with understanding what matters most to you: your family, your goals and concerns, your lifestyle priorities, your retirement vision, and your business and legacy objectives. From there, we build customized strategies designed to align your wealth with the life you want to live — presented clearly, professionally, and transparently, so you always understand the “why” behind the strategy.
Comprehensive planning designed around your life. We take the time to learn about your family, your goals and concerns, your lifestyle priorities, your retirement vision, and your business and legacy objectives — then build customized strategies to align your wealth with the life you want to live. We simplify complex financial decisions and present recommendations clearly, professionally, and transparently.
See “Ways to Work With Us” below for the Retirement Blueprint Financial Plan and ongoing wealth management options.
Our services include:
Delivered through our Integrated Business Solutions Team™ — a coordinated, turn-key team of professionals across disciplines, aligning legal, tax, financial, retirement, and succession strategies for business owners, so the business and the household are planned together rather than in separate silos.
Your workplace retirement plan should not sit apart from the rest of your financial life. Our qualified plan solutions address both sides: helping businesses offer a plan that is easy to start and run, and helping individuals manage their 401(k) together with their other accounts under one personalized financial plan.
Insurance & income planning solutions, as described on our Pricing page under “Beyond Investments: Insurance & Income Planning Solutions.” All solutions are reviewed in a fiduciary capacity, and any commissions are paid by the insurance company, not the client.

Who We Serve
We partner with CEOs, business owners, university faculty, divorcees, and professionals who want to retire happy without worry. The profiles below describe the situations our planning is designed for; the considerations listed are the ones that typically arise in each — raised here so you can judge the fit for yourself.
Senior roles come with compensation structures that demand active management: equity awards on vesting schedules, deferred compensation elections, and employer stock that can quietly come to dominate a balance sheet.
For owners, the business is usually the largest asset and the largest risk at once. Planning has to serve the household and the enterprise together — long before any exit is on the table.
Academic careers come with distinctive retirement structures — institutional retirement plans, sabbaticals, and phased retirements — that reward early, specialized attention.
Divorce is a financial event as much as a legal one. Clear-eyed analysis during the process — and a rebuilt plan afterward — can shape your financial life for decades.
Whether you are building toward retirement or already drawing on what you built, the goal is the same: retire happy, without worry — with income you understand and a plan you can follow.
As listed on our Financial Planning page — families who value personalized advice, fiduciary guidance, and a boutique experience built around relationships, not sales quotas.
The next step is a conversation. We will tell you honestly whether our practice is the right home for your planning — and if it is not, we will say so.

Our team develops a comprehensive financial plan tailored to your goals and circumstances. This may include retirement income strategies, investment allocation recommendations, risk management analysis, tax-efficient planning opportunities, and legacy and estate considerations.
Estimated timeline: 1–2 weeks

About
Meet the co-founders of Wealth Advisors Who Care — Tony Adamo, AIF® and Chris Ritacca, AIF® — two advisors who deliver fiduciary financial planning as a team, conducting advisory business through IFP Advisors, LLC in Florida.
At Wealth Advisors Who Care, Tony Adamo, AIF® brings more than 30 years of financial services experience helping individuals, families, business owners, and retirees pursue financial confidence and long-term security. A former U.S. Army Artillery Officer and Captain, Tony's career has been guided by service, leadership, and putting the needs of others first.
Tony's passion for investing began at age 22, while he was serving as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, and it was shaped by disciplined investing and dollar-cost averaging. In 2018, he co-founded Wealth Advisors Who Care alongside longtime friend and business partner Christopher Ritacca. Before launching the firm, Tony held positions with TIAA, Charles Schwab, Fidelity Investments, BNY Mellon, and Fifth Third Securities.
Originally from New York, Tony now resides in Palm Harbor with his wife, Debra Brown-Adamo, and together they share a blended family of seven adult children. He supports Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the Military Officers Association of America (Clearwater Chapter), and Heroes on the Water, and enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Every investment adviser registered with the SEC or a state regulator has a public record. We encourage you to review ours before any engagement: search adviserinfo.sec.gov for IFP Advisors, LLC and Tony Adamo, or check FINRA BrokerCheck. Our Form ADV Part 2A firm brochure and Part 2B brochure supplement are linked in the footer of this page.
His approach is to walk beside clients through all of life's stages — building comprehensive, flexible strategies around each client's goals, business commitments, and family situation, and helping clients avoid emotional mistakes and stay on the path to financial freedom.
Wealth Advisors Who Care is a DBA of AA Wealth Management, LLC. Investment advisory services are offered through IFP Advisors, LLC, a registered investment adviser. Wealth Advisors Who Care and IFP are not affiliated beyond this relationship.
At Wealth Advisors Who Care, Chris Ritacca plays a key role in helping clients pursue financial clarity, confidence, and long-term retirement success. His approach combines thoughtful planning, fiduciary guidance, and a genuine commitment to understanding each client's unique goals, concerns, and priorities. Chris believes great financial planning begins with listening: by taking the time to truly understand each client's personal and financial situation, he helps create objective, customized strategies designed around what matters most to them — not around products or corporate sales goals. Clients appreciate Chris for his personalized and attentive approach, clear and objective guidance, long-term planning mindset, commitment to acting in their best interests, and ability to simplify complex financial decisions — whether helping them prepare for retirement, manage investment risk, or create a sustainable income strategy.
Originally from Chicago, Chris now lives in St. Petersburg with his wife, Annie, and their two children. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling with family, watching sports, and creating meaningful family experiences — bringing the same values to his personal life that he brings to clients every day: integrity, commitment, and a long-term perspective.

Tampa, Florida
Tampa is where much of Tampa Bay goes to work — corporate headquarters, hospitals, universities, and a growing base of privately held companies. For the executives and business owners who run them, the financial questions are rarely simple: equity that vests on a schedule, a business that is both your income and your largest asset, and benefits decisions made once a year that echo for decades. We serve Tampa clients in a fiduciary capacity — advice legally and ethically bound to your best interest.
Wealth Advisors Who Care serves Tampa and clients across the Tampa Bay area. Meet by video from anywhere, or in person at the IFP office in Tampa (by appointment only), or at your home or place of business. — so a Discovery Meeting fits a working schedule on either side of the bay. Our approach is process before products: we build your Financial Blueprint™ first, then select investments and strategies to serve it. We are transparent and objective about fees, costs, investment selections, and strategies.
Why a Fiduciary
A fiduciary advisor must put your interests first — a legal and ethical duty, not a marketing phrase. For Tampa professionals whose compensation and benefits are complex, that duty matters in every recommendation.
We serve our clients in a fiduciary capacity through IFP Advisors, LLC, a registered investment adviser. Recommendations are made for your benefit — not to sell a product.
We are transparent and objective about fees, costs, investment selections, and strategies — disclosed in writing before you engage, with published engagement plans on our Services page.
Your strategy is designed first; investments are selected to serve it — never the reverse. That discipline helps you avoid emotional mistakes and stay on the path to financial freedom.

St. Petersburg, Florida
St. Petersburg has long drawn people who plan to enjoy retirement — a walkable downtown, an arts and museum community, and neighborhoods where many residents are drawing on what they built over a career. Retirement raises its own questions: when to claim Social Security, how to turn savings into steady income, and how to make a portfolio last. We serve St. Petersburg clients in a fiduciary capacity — advice legally and ethically bound to your best interest.

We walk beside clients through every life stage, helping you avoid emotional mistakes and stay on the path to financial freedom.
Why a Fiduciary
In retirement, most financial decisions are hard to undo — a claiming decision, a withdrawal sequence, an annuity purchase. A fiduciary duty means each recommendation must serve your interest first.

Retirement, Planned Carefully
Whether you retired to St. Petersburg or are counting down the final working years here, these are the questions our planning most often addresses.
The goal is to retire happy, without worry — with income you understand and a plan you can follow through market ups and downs.
Families who value personalized advice, fiduciary guidance, and a boutique experience built around relationships, not sales quotas.
St. Petersburg's independent shops, galleries, and professional practices are often their owners' largest asset — planned together with the household.

Clearwater, Florida
Clearwater is where many Tampa Bay families put down roots — and where many people choose to retire, drawn by the Gulf coast and an established, year-round community. Both seasons of life come with consequential financial decisions: protecting a family while you build, then protecting what you built as you draw on it. We serve Clearwater clients in a fiduciary capacity — advice legally and ethically bound to your best interest.
Wealth Advisors Who Care serves Clearwater and clients across the Tampa Bay area. Why a Fiduciary
Families choosing an advisor in Clearwater are often comparing very different kinds of firms. The fiduciary standard is the clearest dividing line: a legal and ethical duty to put your interests first.

Dunedin, Florida
Dunedin is Tampa Bay's small town in the best sense — a walkable Main Street of independent businesses, a close-knit residential community, and a pace of life people choose deliberately. Financial planning here tends to be personal: people want an advisor who knows them, keeps the client base focused, and plans around relationships rather than sales quotas. We serve Dunedin clients in a fiduciary capacity — advice legally and ethically bound to your best interest.
Wealth Advisors Who Care serves Dunedin and clients across the Tampa Bay area. Meet by video from anywhere, or in person at the IFP office in Tampa (by appointment only), or at your home or place of business.. We keep our client base focused so the planning stays deep rather than broad: a boutique experience built around relationships, with a comprehensive, flexible strategy customized to your goals, your business commitments, and your family situation.
Why a Fiduciary
In a community built on trust and reputation, the fiduciary standard is the professional version of the same idea: a legal and ethical duty to put your interests first, in writing.
Planning for Dunedin's Main Street & Neighborhoods
Dunedin's mix of independent business owners and long-settled households shapes the planning questions we most often address here.
For owners of independent businesses, the business is usually the largest asset and the largest risk at once. Planning has to serve the household and the enterprise together — long before any exit is on the table.
Whether you are building toward retirement or already drawing on what you built, the goal is the same: retire happy, without worry — with income you understand and a plan you can follow.
Families who value personalized advice, fiduciary guidance, and a boutique experience built around relationships, not sales quotas.

Tele-Wealth — Virtual Clients
Not every client lives around the corner — and full fiduciary wealth management should not require that you do. Tele-Wealth is our flat-fee wealth management option, delivered virtually: the same fiduciary standard, the same Financial Blueprint™ process, and the same direct access to your advisor, by video and phone from wherever you are. We serve our virtual clients in a fiduciary capacity — advice legally and ethically bound to your best interest.
Wealth Advisors Who Care offers Tele-Wealth to clients who prefer to work with their advisor virtually — whether you are across Florida, across the country, or simply prefer meeting from home. Meet by video from anywhere, or in person at the IFP office in Tampa (by appointment only), or at your home or place of business. Our approach is process before products: we build your Financial Blueprint™ first, then select investments and strategies to serve it. We are transparent and objective about fees, costs, investment selections, and strategies.
Why a Fiduciary
Working virtually changes the meeting room, not the standard. A fiduciary advisor must put your interests first — a legal and ethical duty that applies to every recommendation, wherever you are located.
We serve our clients in a fiduciary capacity through IFP Advisors, LLC, a registered investment adviser. Recommendations are made for your benefit — not to sell a product.
Tele-Wealth is a flat fee, published in advance — no percentage-of-assets calculation and no surprises. We are transparent and objective about fees, costs, investment selections, and strategies, disclosed in writing before you engage.
Your strategy is designed first; investments are selected to serve it — never the reverse. Your Financial Blueprint™ comes before any product discussion, in person or on screen.

If you invested $100 in 1928, where would it have grown most — tucked in a mattress, lent to the U.S. government, or riding in the stock market through a century of crashes, wars, and uncertainty? The difference between those decisions is dramatic, and the lesson still matters today: you don't need a time machine to benefit from compounding. You just need a plan and the patience to stick with it.
